Kaisercraft Projects

Have you noticed the fun products we have from Kaisercraft? If you like to create scrapbooking projects besides just layouts, then you will love these items! We carry a large variety of mini albums and theme books, projects to hang on your wall, and storage options. These wooden products are a great way to put your creativity on display!

  1. Start with a wooden base of your choice.
  2. Cover it with patterned papers (Mod Podge works great).
  3. Embellish to your heart's content.
Here are two project ideas to get you started:

This wall hanging measures approximately 12" wide. Don't be afraid to stamp directly onto your background paper just like you would on a layout. You can add stickers, die cuts, flowers, and ribbons...you choose! You can permanently attach your photos or slip them into photo corners so you can change them out as often as you wish.

Maureen Wilson designed this darling "On the Go" mini album about her son.

To create the windows, sandwich a clear sheet of acetate or transparency between the wooden base and the patterned paper. Maureen postitioned a photo of her son so he looks like he's peering through the car window. So cute!

There's plenty of space on these pages to add large titles, journaling, and photos.

Mini albums, such as these, provide a great space to record those precious little moments others might not necessarily hear about.

Notice how Maureen has clipped her journaling into individual words and reattached them to form the sentences. It's a great twist and adds a playfulness to the book.

Maureen chose to replace the silver binding rings with colored ones to match her project. You could also tie it together with ribbons, a ball chain, or strips of torn fabric.

These are just a couple of ideas using Kaisercraft's great "Beyond the Page" product line. We have free idea magazine in the store just for you or you could check out their website for a downloadable version.
