2009 2nd Saturday
Scrapbooking Moments that matter the most are not always the big major events that happen
in our lives.
We believe the true purpose of scrapbooking is to preserve memories, who we are and what makes us that way. The everyday things we do need to be remembered. Our thoughts and feelings need to be recorded for our histories and posterity's sake.
Sometimes we, ourselves, experience an awakening in our lives of how important we are to the world around us, that maybe we neglected to see before. We need to stop and reflect on our day-to-day routines and notice just how much we do in service of others, how much service is done for us, or where there is room for us to improve.
Those who come after us will develop most of their values and set goals for their future by learning from those who came before.
Our scrapbooks are the truth of who we are; they're filled with our love, our hopes, and our dreams. We share ourselves through our pictures and words.
We hope this year we will help you tell your stories that matter the most and to share the values that define you!
January's 2nd Saturday Theme
"On Schedule"

Go ahead... step out of your comfort zone and try something new! The first step is to think outside of the box.
Some things you could document are:

Rituals
Bedtime
Potty Training
Loose Teeth
Pregnancy
Graduations
Calendar your Week, Month or Daily Activities
Chores
Chauffeuring
Etc.

Please share your ideas of "On Schedule" with the class Saturday, January 10th, at 8am.

Food For Thought:
How have your routines changed over the years?
What makes your routine unique?
How would you like to change your routine?

Good luck with this month's challenge! We look forward to seeing your achievements next month.
