A Canvas Idea
Turn blank canvases into beautiful pieces of wall art! Display various sizes on a plate rack (as shown below). Dangle them from a metal rod. Mix and match and stack. The possibilities are endless!
The "Flower Child" collection from Bo Bunny was used to create this vertical display. To make something similar, format a favorite quote on your computer, then print it directly onto patterned paper.
TIP: Paper attaches very easily to canvas with a bit of spray adhesive.

K&Company Baby Kits
These Jillian Phillips Nursery Rhyme Baby K&Company scrap kits make it easy to create layouts, cards and more with beautifully coordinated designer papers and embellishments. Each kit includes 86 pieces with 12 designer papers, 61 die-cut stickers, 1 dimensional frame and 12 Grand Adhesions.
Although these collections are marketed for baby themed projects, we think they are versatile enough to be used for a variety of creations.
Here's a peek at the baby boy collection:

Kathy designed this adorable layout and mini album to celebrate the addition of her new baby boy:

Kathy clustered some decorative buttons to visually connect her photos together.

Kathy placed felt and alphabet stickers onto the short acrylic pages throughout her book. When the pages lay flat, it gives the illusion that it's all one page.

2nd Saturday Recap
This month for 2nd Saturday we focused on Designing with Punches.
On the above page, I used one of the new Martha Stewart punches. These come in a set that consists of a straight border punch and a corner punch. You can use them separately or punch all around your page. (Notice the photo matte). The corner punch was also used to make the scalloped design around the circle element. The banner was made by using a diamond punch, then cutting the pieces in half.

Martha Stewart "Double Loops" Around the Page Punch. On this page designed by Chris Larsen, she used an assortment of flower punches to create the border along the bottom.
Two different scalloped circle punches were used to create the layered flowers on the above layout.
Like many of your scrapbooking tools, punches can be used in different ways to create one-of-a-kind accents. So play around with them a little and see what creative things you come up with!
Happy Scrapping!!!!

Mini Albums
Mini Albums are a great way to record family memories in a neat little space. You can create one for any special occasion such as a birthday, wedding, back to school, family vacation, and so much more. While those are all great events to remember, it's also fun to document normal everyday activities as well. Here is an example of an album honoring the daily routine of our family. I think it will be fun to look back in a few years and see how our lives have changed!
Bo Bunny has some cute mini albums that are a great place to start. This one has an acrylic cover and cascading chipboard pages that can be covered with patterned paper or left plain.
The acrylic covers are extra fun to decorate since you can create a peek-a-boo effect by layering items on top of and underneath the acrylic.
Pebbles accents and journaling blocks from My Mind's Eye make a great combination for this simple design. Label the day's highlights with Day-of-the-Week stamps by Jillibean Soup.

Mini albums can be completed in a short amount of time. Why not come in and check out the various mini albums we have in stock. If you don't find one you like, you could also use our die cutting machines and cut your own from acrylic, chipboard, and/or paper. Be creative!
