Here is the first of our projects of the week in scrapbooking
Materials Needed:

Extra Thoughts:
Ever bought it and forgot it? You know, you get some new goodies and put them away and then forget you bought them in the first place? I love to keep new treasures and recent photos out in the open, where they can inspire me. An extra bonus: this board holds all the tools I use most… so I can get right to work!

Hints and Tips:
Lay your tools down on the fabric, then pin the ribbon tightly around them. Sew where you had the pins, and you’ll have a custom fit for your favorite tools. Don’t forget to make iron-on labels– so tidy!

2nd Saturday
We had a great turn out for 2nd Saturday this morning! Our theme was "How to use fabric on your scrapbook pages." Here are a few ideas to get you jump started:
1. Stitch the fabric to your page with a sewing machine or by hand.
2. Tear it into strips and use like ribbon.
3. Attach it with staples, eyelets, or brads.
4. Tie a strip of fabric to a photo turn or a grommet to anchor it to your page.
5. Iron it onto your page using Pellon.
6. Loosely gather the ribbon with big basting stitches and use as a border.
7. Die cut shapes from fabric and use as embellishments.
The ideas are endless! Be creative and think outside the box!!
