October Die Cut of the Month

I absolutely love this month's featured die! There are so many possibilities! You can mix the different pages up in a mini album or use multiple pages of the same design. We will also share some ideas this month on how to use them in some spooky Halloween decorations for your home.


This is a great example of a mini album using only one of the die-cut pages. Just fold the ends in and embellish with tags, ribbon, and themed paper. It's the perfect way to display photos of your little spooks. But don't just think Halloween...this could be used for a baby announcement, birthday party invitation, or a Grandma's brag book.

October Kit of the Month

Here is another fantastic kit of the month made by Maureen Wilson. All the embellishments are done and ready to attach to this cute Halloween chipboard mini album. You will need to bind it all together using the Zutter binding machine. (There is one in the store available for you to use. The binding coil is included in the kit). Card Class for 10/2/08

Get a jump start on fall holidays with these cute Halloween and Thanksgiving cards designed by Shelly Robertson. You can make all four cards for only $5! Class goes from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, October 2nd at the Rexburg store. Hope to see you there!

Vita Bella by Little Yellow Bicycle

Have you noticed the great collections that are made by Little Yellow Bicycle? Vita Bella is one of them and I think its absolutely gorgeous! I love the soft blues and greens and the rich designs. There are all kinds of stickers, rub-ons, and other embellishments to make designing and coordinating easy for you. One of the pieces I love is this mini album. It comes on a die cut sheet (pictured below) ready to punch out and embellish. The only things I added to complete mine were some ribbon and a couple of buttons. Come in and see all the beautiful pieces of this collection!

Scrap Pink

This is one last reminder about our big 6-Midnight crop we are holding this Friday, September 26th, at the Rexburg store. Please join us for a night of fun! For the $15 participation fee, you will receive this beautiful Legacy kit from Pebbles, Inc. Ten dollars of that fee will be donated to the Susan G. Komen foundation to fight breast cancer.


With your kit, you can create the layouts we have designed (see below) or do as you wish with the product. Bring your own scrapbooking supplies as well, since there will be plenty of time to catch up on projects or start new ones. There will be good company, exclusive sales, and lots of fun! New Scenic Route!

Look at this beautiful new product just in from Scenic Route Paper Company! I love that their papers come with matching chipboard, stickers, and paper strips. One of our designers, Kathy Davis, created these layouts shown here from the Sonoma line.

(A fun tidbit: Did you know that Scenic Route names all their product lines after a city and all the papers in that line are named after a street in that city?)
